Renee Smith, DVM, CCRT (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist)

 

Dr. Smith is the primary doctor at the Lindale Veterinary Clinic, a Christian based, family oriented corporation.  She earned her bachelor of science (1992) and doctor of veterinary medicine (1996) degrees from Texas A & M University.  She enjoys working with both large and small animals, showing Golden Retrievers, and breeding French Bulldogs.  Dr. Smith is one of the few veterinarians in the state certified in PennHip.  She emphasizes client education and feels that it greatly enhances pet health.  She wants to work with owners to achieve optimum health and quality of life for their pets. She focuses her interests in medicine, surgery, veterinary dentistry, and radiology.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.  She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, camping and hiking, and spending time with her family.  Renee and her husband, Kelly, currently reside in Wood County on their small ranch with their four children Rachel, Jason, Aubree, and Sarah.  They raise Golden Retrievers and French Bulldogs. 

 

 

 

Ashley Hogue, DVM 

 

Dr. Hogue is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.  She completed her Bachelor's degree in Bio-medical Science in 2001 and her Master's degree in Epidemiology in 2004 at Texas A&M University.  She is originally from Tyler and recently joined our practice after moving back to Tyler.  Her interests include surgery and internal medicine.  She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Madison, and her family.

 

 

 

Kelly Smith,
Practice Administrator

 

Kelly is a Marine Corps veteran and has been a police officer since 1997 in local, county and federal positions and obtained his master peace officer certification.  He has enjoyed working with the Lindale Veterinary Clinic since 1999 and is co-owner with Dr. Renee Smith.  He earned his Associates of Arts degree in Criminal Justice(2004) from Tyler Junior College and Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration (2005) from LeTourneau University.  Kelly offers years of leadership experience gained from military and law enforcement as well as being Vice President of a National Security Protection Group and a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  He focuses on making the clients and their pets feel welcome, at home and that they are the most important part of the practice.  Kelly organizes the clinic health care team and strives to utilize all available resources to ensure the highest level of professionalism and staff education.  He is an ordained minister utilizes a servant leadership model in the clinic. He enjoys hunting, trapping, fishing, shooting sports, scuba diving, camping, hiking, martial arts and physical fitness. Kelly and Buckshot are pictured here. Kelly's loyalty to God and his commitment to spending time with his family are his first priority.

Casey Maxfield,
Veterinary Technician, CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner), CVA

 

Casey has been a veterinary technician with Lindale Veterinary Clinic since 2006 and is pursuing her Registered Veterinary Technician title in addition to a CVA.  In 2009, she attended the University of Tennessee’s certificate program in Canine Rehabilitation and received her certification in December of that year.  She has a red mutt named Charlie and a miniature Dachshund named Chloe.  They are both rotten.  When she is not at work, she enjoys hunting and fishing with her husband and son, as well as riding and breeding Quarter Horses.

 

 

 

 

Andrea Smith,
Veterinary Technician, CVA

 

Andrea has been a veterinary technician with Lindale Veterinary clinic since 2008.  She has lived in Lindale with her husband and two children for 10 years, where she raises Pygmy goats. She has a Dachshund mix named PoCampo
a Golden Retriever named Sadie a Cocker Spaniel named Mable and a Basset Hound-Schnauzer mix named Beretta. In her spare, time she likes hiking, hunting, camping, working on the farm, and spending time with her family. 

 

 

 

 

Leslie Harley,

Veterinary Technician 

 

Leslie has plans to take classes towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician after she achieves her CVA.  She lives in Mineola with her two children, Emma Jo and Eli, and their Golden Retriever, Gracie.  She enjoys photography and spending time with her children.

Rachel Smith,
Customer Care Specialist

 

Rachel has lived in Mineola for 14 years and recently had a baby girl, named Brylie.  She joined the team at the Lindale Veterinary Clinic as a Customer Care Specialist in the summer of 2011.  Rachel is currently attending the University of Texas in Tyler and pursuing her CVA.  She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Victoria Floyd,
CVA (Certified Veterinary Assistant)

 

Victoria has lived in Texas for 6 years and has been with us since 2010.  She has her CVA level 1 and is working towards level 2 and 3 of CVA, along with her RVT.  She has a Puginese named Ginger, a Quarter Horse named Lena, and a hamster named 'Lil dude.  She loves all animals but has a special interest in dogs, cats, and horses.
